Our Summer concert on 13th June at St. Margaret’s Church, Ilkley was a joy! Featuring Rutter’s “Magnificat”, Poulenc’s “Gloria” and Fauré’s “Le Cantique de Jean Racine”. Soprano Sarah Fox awed us all with her amazing voice and Robert Sudall played his usual magic on the organ as our accompanist. Hannah Thompson our 2026/7 conducting scholar led us beautifully in the Fauré. Alex Kyle as always elevated us to new heights with his patient, humorous and inspiring leadership. An uplifting evening enjoyed by all who sang and came to listen.
