Ilkley Choral Society will be holding a Come and Sing on Saturday 10th September at St. John’s church, Ben Rhydding. Registration will be open from 10am and the event will finish at 4pm.
Their talented Musical Director, Jennifer Sterling, will be giving expert and professional tuition on Vivaldi’s Gloria throughout the day, culminating in a performance for family and friends at 3.30pm.
This event is a must for budding choir members and singers from the local area who would enjoy coming together to perform this vibrant and uplifting choral work.
Jennifer Sterling is the Associate Choral Director at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, and has extensive experience of working with choirs of all levels across the UK, and with prestigious organisations such as Opera North and the National Youth Choir of Scotland. We are very lucky to be able to offer this opportunity to singers in and around the Ilkley area.
The cost for the whole day is £18.00, with a reduced rate of £15 for students and under 18s. Tea and coffee is provided but participants should bring a packed lunch. Copies of the music will be provided on the day.
