Over 60 singers joined Ilkley Choral Society for a day of singing in Ilkley.
In one day they got to grips with Vivalid’s Gloria and held a mini-performance at the end of the day.
They were lead by the choral society’s experienced musical director Jennifer Sterling and accompanied on the piano by Robin Cook of the sister choir Otley choral society. Singing the solo parts were Kwankaew Ruangtrakool and Olivia Hamblyn.
Chair of Ilkley Choral Society Adrian Heeley said “It was such an enjoyable day and amazing to see how much we progressed in one day. It was lovely to see new & old faces and some people interested in joining the choir in the future. Many thanks to Jennifer Sterling for leading the day and to our secretary Sally Sumpner for all her hard work organising the day”.
